The Chesterfield Freedom Festival

The Chesterfield Freedom Festival “Building Strength and Unity in Our Community” was created by the Vets on Track Foundation to celebrate the incredible contributions made by the men and women of the armed forces, and those who serve on the frontlines of Chesterfield’s neighborhoods…our first responders, doctors, nurses and community neighbors.
The festival will be an all-day event, featuring lots of craft and business vendors, food, stage performances, Chesterfield at Work static – displays by the armed services and first responders and local companies, a (relaxed) job and resource fair, and featured speakers throughout the day, plus more.
Each year, the Vets on Track Foundation will present the Annual “Community Hero of the Year Awards. Recipients will be selected by a review board from nominations received.  We will present the annual award to an Active Duty Servicemember, Police Officer, Firefighter, EMT, Doctor and Nurse and a community champion.

We welcome representatives from ALL charity organizations who support our servicemen and women and their families, as well as our first responders to set up an information table at no charge.  The Chesterfield Freedom Festival will be the venue to recognize the enormous community contributions made by our service men and women, police officers, firefighters, EMT’s, the medical profession and our neighbors.

We will announce the winner of

and much more…!

From the frontlines of Chesterfield’s neighborhoods to borders around the world,

our community police officers, fire fighters, doctors, nurses and men and women of the United States Armed Forces, work as a team to keep our country and community safe.  Day in and day out, these American heroes put their lives on the line protecting and maintaining order and discipline here at home, and around the globe.

For more than 200 years,

the United States Military and first responders have been providing for the defense of this country and our local communities. Many have given their lives so that we, as a Nation, can continue to prosper. From generation to generation, Americans from coast to coast have stood up and answered the call to duty. Whether donning the uniform of one of the armed services, or that of a police officer or firefighter, Americans have shown the world that we operate with the “One Team…One Nation” mentality.
